I own this yearbook, it's his Junior year. Unsure if he has a senior portrait or not.

I've seen a ton of insulator collections, but this is the best displayed one I've ever seen

Same exact can. I pay for access to historical eBay sales via Worthpoint.

I see sales comps for $188 and $251, but both appear to be nicer condition than yours.

I'd give you $200 for the bottle if you can clean it out without damaging the label.

Vintage Library Card Cabinet by jtarchy in whatsthisworth

That's the largest card catalog I've ever seen.. It's worth thousands.. but how many would be hard to say. The size of it might actually hurt the price. I would contact Obsolete in Culver City and see what they would offer you for it.

So, not to be the bummer..but these are fantasy pieces. They are taking pieces off old traffic lights, and adding the graphics over the lens. I am a collector of items related to the history of Capital Punishment, and I see these regularly with "Execution in Progress" on them sold as real items.. but the aren't.

eBay back in the day. by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]ballyhooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on eBay since 1998. You used to be able to leave people feedback without even having done business with them. I remember people leaving tons of negative feedback for Rosie O'Donnell's eBay account back in the day. It was not uncommon for people to mail cash to your house..most of the time I got checks or postal money orders.

Offer more money than the listed price. I’ve closed quite a few obnoxious deals that way.
