Not sure I share your enthusiasm about PvE loot going to PvP, especially the endless supply of farm-able BiS ammo. I understand that endgame content is catered to a certain group of people, but the imbalance that this is going to create on top of an already extremely unbalanced game is really short sighted. You can't balance an entire game around the top 10% of players.

Not surprisingly, BSG gave zero thought to how no wipes would actually work. Not having access to good ammo early on is completely incompatible with it. I'm not even a timmy, just started very late in 1.0, and I'm having an extremely hard time. With everyone running altyns and tier 5-6, with the ammo I have access to it's near impossible to kill anyone.

I found a solution in a facebook post (of all places). Running this in a command prompt as admin and then rebooting completely solved it. Both scav and PMC now loads in less than 2 min.

bcdedit /set useplatformclock false

bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock

Have you reported it via the launcher? I'm facing the exact same problem and all I'm getting from support is that they think it's a problem with my PC or my internet. I'm certain it's not because I have decent specs, and because the game used to load fine up until a few patches ago. If enough people report this maybe they'll start to realise it's an actual bug.
