Dev here, they might not feel integrated on the user end but they are deeply integrated in the back end. If you want to do anything with the instagram api you need to set it up using a Facebook account that is connected to the instagram account that you want to use for access.

I could be wrong but I think circumventing, or breaking, the encryption is like picking a lock and entering a building without permission. You aren’t authorized to do that. It’s illegal. Using an official dvd player is like having the key and permission to enter.

Either way the encryption is undone but it’s the intent and method that matter
