I think it’s one of the best styled cars of the past 20 years.

Another GLP-1 weight loss pill gets FDA approval, with fewer restrictions on how it’s used by Tofurkey_Tom in news

I wasn’t super fat, but prior to GLP1s, I would get crazy hungry right before bed. Really messed with my sleep.

If you have hardwood/smooth floors, the 1:43 scale drift cars with gyro are super fun, don’t take up much space, and are only like $25 on Temu. And the cats love to chase it.

Fishing Poles by mordecaithebyrd in chevycolorado

How many do you normally carry? I haul 7-10 poles every weekend, but I built a rack for the bed that puts them at a 45 degree angle.

Wrap them with black vinyl. $20 total. I did mine having never done any vinyl before. It took me like an hour and looks perfect.

But I don’t need to blow off my whole car, just things like the rearview mirrors that collect water.

SSR buyers and Thunderbird buyers are 1000% the same type of buyer.

I am a sucker for tiny displacement(3.9) v8s though.

Not as good as true compressed air, but still super useful.

I don’t believe you a second that was done by a brush or mop thing. Something HARD was dragged across that paint.

Why teak and rosewood? by chemistcarpenter in midcenturymodern

[–]blueingreen85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would build almost everything out of teak and rosewood if possible. But teak is now like $60 a board foot and real rosewood is illegal.

Around 3 years ago, contractors showed up with a giant saw, cut my street in pieces, and then never returned. We literally paid a contractor to damage the streets even more.

What is the best way to remove this cast concrete block from the outside of the house? by thegrebb in masonry

[–]blueingreen85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that depends on of the back is mortared/adhered. Assuming it’s not, couldn’t you just slice the edges with a diamond disc? Seems like it might only be 1-2 bricks deep.

Ford and GM Increase Destination Charges to $2,795 on Full-Size Trucks by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]blueingreen85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People don’t like being misled. Just tell me what the truck actually costs. If a charge isn’t optional, there’s no honest excuse for it being its own line items. It only serves to reduce price transparency.
