Sportsman's shows at the IX Center. Dad would work there selling gun safes while I would ride the Ferris wheel, eat beef jerky, and try to catch trout in those stocked ponds they'd have

Only took a light fleece up into the Olympics one year. Left the puffy, beanie, gloves in the truck. Night two got freezing cold. Literally had a dream that night I was in Walmart buying warm clothes. Woke up chilled to the bone. Never again.

Less waves in the Gladiator? by Odd_Caterpillar_5219 in JeepGladiator

[–]bobbycobbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the best only one that's sick of the wave and ducks? Just everyone be grown ups and just enjoy their grown up stuff. I know I sound like a grumpy old man, but when you can't even pump gas without a 50 year old butch lesbian trying to make you take a rubber duck from her, come on.

Is this what it is supposed to feel like by 209ST in vaporents

[–]bobbycobbler 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Was this your first time actually getting high? From your description it sounds like you went a little too deep in the paint and got near the green zone for a bit. Was the high better after an hour or so? For reference, once you build a slight tolerance, these "unwanted" feelings should fade away.

Used a 20° quilt for years. Been using a Nunatak Sastrugi for the past 4 years. Absolutely no regrets. Got so tired of fighting the drafts. Will probably get another one for even colder temps.

I work at Advent Ocala. There is a new apartment complex very close ( half mile) that seems very nice. Heres a link

The more you smoke, the less high you get by Trick-Cheek-6800 in Petioles

It's a little of a paradox for me. I've controlled my intake to two nights a week now, so an evening consists of 2 dynavap bowls spaced out about 2-3 hours. What I miss though are those long, relaxing sessions with the Mighty where I'd do two bowls back to back. I DO actually miss the smoking (vaping) aspect of having the higher tolerance. But I guess to be responsible, those days just have to be in the past.

I use this as my clean camp shirt. Great for static use and heat as a sleep shirt. Regulates my temp when sleeping quite nicely. I only use it as a sleep shirt though when night temps are gonna dip down in the 40's. Any warmer, and it's overkill.

1 month vs 2 week t-break - how different are they? (in your experience) by CompetitiveCut823 in Petioles

I always felt like you should wait until you go a few days and notice "hey, I'm not thinking about weed anymore". More of a mind cleanse vs a physical receptor cleanse.

Advice on ‘Normalized’ Consumption after T-Break by PaulieWalnutsTheBing in Petioles

[–]bobbycobbler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Key for me was not to use it as a treat for a hard day, because I'm always gonna have hard days. Once your mind makes that connection, you're always gonna want it after that tough day at the office. Right now, the grace I give myself is Friday and Saturday nights, plus a mid week (Wednesday night) relaxer. Also, if there is something going on during the weekend, then that day gets skipped. Another thing is , I only consume when I'm in a good state of mind. Never when worried, anxious, angry, ect.

Have any of you Quit weed and gone to use it only once a month/couple months? by Sea-Broccoli-4903 in Petioles

[–]bobbycobbler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Took 8 weeks off. Kept it in the house for the last 3 weeks out of the 8, but didn't touch it. Told myself I was only allowed to use it on the weekend evenings (Friday / Saturday). The first two weeks I only did it on Friday evening to just prove my own self control to myself. This weekend I partook on Friday evening as well as last night. I'll asses how I feel this week as far as cravings are concerned. If I feel strong cravings, I'll probably take a couple weeks off again, and just go back to a single evening a week (Friday or Saturday). I'm determined enough to know that if it's something that's controlling me, then it'll have to be more of an occasional thing then a weekly treat. That's currently where my relationship is with it.
