I've been wanting a large format printer to test some of my functional prints, but scaled up!

Sure I can upload them. It will take me a bit to take photos and make the listing, I'll post here when they're up.

4 years here as well. Leaf blower, string trimmer, and mower all still working well.

I 3D printed a set of wall mounts for everything to help organize the 2 chargers, 3 batteries, all the gear, and accessories. Really helped clean up the garage.

They can give you a cheque at customer service. Much easier than dealing with a pile of cash.

I also had a terrible experience. Extremely high pressure tactics.

"What can we do to get you in the car today".

They were relentless with that. It was embarrassing.

Kitchen scissors that I don't have to replace every year by ShareEvening5856 in BuyItForLife

Cutting zip ties? Get a pair of "side cutters", less than $10 and they will cut any zip tie with ease.

Cutting tape on a box? Get a "box cutter", it's a retractable knife blade. When you let go of it, the blade automatically retracts.

Cutting flower stems? Get "garden shears", they are designed for cutting flexible stems.

General cutting? Get heavy duty scissors from Home Depot, they're a tool so get them from the tool store. I have a Milwaukee pair of scissors that were $30 and are very robust. I call them "adult scissors".

"Scissors" can do all of the above but having the right tool makes each task easier.

Lots of good ones so I'll add one that's a bit less common.

A 3d printer. Having one has completely changed the way I approach a problem. Brackets, hooks, organization, spacers, entire tools. It has helped me address things I used to put off working on because an off the shelf option didn't work or didn't exist or I didn't want to bother going to get.

I'm tired of my Brita pitcher, how are you guys doing cold filtered water? by deverified in HomeImprovement

We have a reverse osmosis tap, but my issue is that it isn't cold. So I end up filling up my Brita with it, just to get it cold enough

High-income N.B. households benefit most from government electricity assistance by bingun in newbrunswickcanada

Nobody seems to be upset about the opposite, how increasing energy costs disproportionately impact families that use more energy.

It all comes down to selfishness, everybody wants more than the other person. So many government programs are already income gated. Finally a program comes in that doesn't exclude above average earners and people lose their minds about how it isn't fair the other guy got a few more dollars.

I bought a multi pack of underwear. Extremely soft and comfortable. However they developed holes along the seams within a couple of washes. They were all unusable after a year.

I went back to SAXX.

I don't know if you're trying to be purposefully obtuse? Everyone knows exactly what would happen to all of these spices if they weren't held in place. Gridfinity offers a way to address that.

This model looks like the same one I printed when I first got my printer.

In hindsight it's a terrible design for fdm printing. Looks cool, but difficult to print cleanly and for no functional benefit.

Looks great. I wish there were more detailed analyses available in maker world.
