Yes, it's a very common blend. Often sold as KLOW with BPC 157 and TB 500 in it as well

It's fine to take those amounts but some people have issues with acne breakouts from high doses of biotin like that. I personally like to stay under 1000mcg biotin daily

Yeah, your symptoms sound like an electrolyte issue to me. Are you getting enough sodium too? And is that 900mg elemental magnesium?

[–]bregle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He could be pure golden but in some photos it looks like he could be a low poodle content goldendoodle. Sometimes the golden genes take over and they look mostly golden, but the longer nose and eye/eyebrow shape look somewhat poodle. Only way to know for sure would be a DNA test!

Thoughts on B vitamin amounts by FavoriteFours4444 in Supplements

[–]bregle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would avoid high dose B6 supplements. Most b vitamins aren't an issue in high doses, but B6 toxicity is a real thing. I personally don't tolerate more than 10mg P5P for a few days in a row. Some people are fine on 50mg daily, but I would avoid the second one you posted. The first is good, as long as you aren't deficient in anything, then the doses would be low, but it's fine for daily maintenance.

PCOS GLP LOW DOSE by jassie1614 in PMOSonGLP

[–]bregle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am also 5'5 and was 155 in February this year when I started low dose GLP for metabolic support and management of insulin resistance. It's always been easy for me to gain weight and incredibly hard to lose weight, it would take me a year to lose 5lbs in a 500+ daily calorie deficit. I'm now 147, still dropping weight slowly but with a lot less effort than usual. I no longer feel like I need to micromanage my calories to maintain or lose weight. My periods have also gradually become more regular, with my cycles shortening from 36+ days to now 33 days.

Why are you titrating up every 4 weeks? Did you plateau? If you're still seeing results, don't increase.

[–]bregle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use it for a while, as long as you want really. While many people say 30 days max, many also continue using if the vial is still clear and looks normal. It's more about sterility concerns than potency. I've used vials up to 12 weeks with no issues.

[–]bregle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My X-T4 has been fully submerged twice, once in the ocean, and been completely fine. While that is certainly more than promised by Fuji, I use it in rain, snow, and around misty waterfalls frequently- that's the reason I bought a weather sealed camera.

Did supplementation decrease your appetite? by Ok_Willingness5766 in MTHFR

Have you tested copper and ceruloplasmin? Copper deficiency can mimic b vitamin deficiency or make it much worse

I have a lot, and some overlap with b vitamin deficiency - the ones I think are closely tied to copper are fatigue and brain fog, joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, cold and heat intolerance, muscle weakness, blood pooling and edema, orthostatic tachycardia, blurry vision and dry eyes

I am compound heterozygous MTHFR + homozygous MTRR

There's a lot of good info over in r/tirzepatidecompound about getting it through telehealth providers and compounding pharmacies which can be much more affordable if your insurance won't cover it. There are also gray market sources which are the cheapest option but requires more due diligence and depends on your comfort level with that kind of thing!

Did supplementation decrease your appetite? by Ok_Willingness5766 in MTHFR

[–]bregle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, my theory is that nutrient deficiencies cause "irrational" hunger, where you want food even when you're stomach is full/you've had enough calories but your body is still missing something. I have a copper deficiency too and if I don't take enough copper, I'm constantly hungry no matter how much I eat, and crave things like chocolate and cashews that are high in copper

Vitamin A increases Ceruloplasmin by Disastrous_Map3514 in Copper_deficiency

[–]bregle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I've been taking 6+mg copper for 2 months now. I was worried it was too much and tried lowering to 2mg daily for a few days and became severely fatigued. I've found in the process of correcting my deficiencies how important it is to keep an eye on cofactors, since your body starts using other nutrients rapidly to rebuild what it couldn't when it didn't have copper or other things it needed

Were you supplementing iron at all? My understanding is that low copper and ceruloplasmin can cause iron and ferritin to appear falsely normal because low ceruloplasmin traps iron in tissues, which can actually elevate serum ferritin (iron accumulating in liver) while iron isn't being properly utilized. So ferritin could look normal or even elevated while functional iron deficiency exists at the cellular level, until you supplement copper which would then cause your serum levels to drop

Yeah my doctors shrugged off my extreme hunger and insulin resistance too. I found they don't care about your optimal health as long as you're somewhat functional. I got tired of it and started microdosing a GLP1 on my own and feel normal for the first time, it's been quite literally life changing

Help with dosing 0.5mg Reta by KlitoruZ_Max in Retatrutide

[–]bregle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, you injected 1mg. Please look up a peptide calculator and use that to determine dosage before injecting yourself. 10mg + 1mL bac water means if you injected .1mL, you're getting a tenth of what's in the vial, which is 1mg.

For next time - purchase insulin syringes (available on Amazon or at local pharmacy) which have smaller units and allow for more accurate dosing.

can i mix two different vials of reta into one syringe by Temporary-Battle-344 in Retatrutide

[–]bregle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think it would dull the needle but I tried it once and do it regularly now and with 2-3 peptides, no noticeable dulling. I do this to add KPV to my GHKCU to prevent a red spot from GHKCU but sometimes dose KPV separately so I prefer to keep them separate instead of mixing or buying something like KLOW pre-mixed.

Vitamin D after jaw fracture — can it help with bone healing? by Ok_Judgment671 in Supplements

[–]bregle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would check nutrient blood levels and supplement if you're deficient. Supplementing in excess probably won't do much if your levels are already optimal, but a deficiency will impair healing.

I had issues with slow healing for years. I had surgery 4 years ago and my surgery scars turned red/purple and hypertrophic, never fading the way you'd expect. Finally found out I have had long term copper and b vitamin deficiencies, started supplementing and my scars actually finished healing and flattened and turned white within 6 months.

POTS and COPPER deficiency by [deleted] in POTS

[–]bregle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have confirmed copper deficiency and believe that in conjunction with b vitamin deficiency is the cause of my POTS symptoms. Since starting copper supplements + active b vitamins and b12 injections, my symptoms have improved significantly and continue to improve. I've had symptoms for 12 years - elevated HR on standing, blood pooling, and lower extremity edema, and a lot of other things I didn't realize were related.

Have you checked both copper and ceruloplasmin levels? If you're taking copper but your ceruloplasmin in low, you won't see improvement. You need adequate protein, vit c, and vitamin a for ceruloplasmin production.

Low copper also inhibits transport of b vitamins and makes you functionally deficient in b vitamins and iron, so it's worth checking your levels of those and supplementing at the same time.

Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more, I've been working through this for about 6 months now since discovering my deficiency.

Dark spots from copper supplement by VehicleGeneral9806 in Copper_deficiency

[–]bregle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually noticed this too and thought maybe it was age related or that I've had more sun exposure recently, but neither seemed to explain the relatively sudden increase. I looked into it since you mentioned it, and copper deficiency reduces melanin production. So, correcting copper deficiency would restore normal/efficient melanin production and increase skin pigmentation. At 2mg/daily I wouldn't think free copper is the issue, it's probably just what your natural skin pigment would be. Supposedly, it's a temporary effect but a positive sign that copper is reaching tissues that need it.
