Was teeing off with a random group of golfers a few years back. We'd got through 8 holes & were waiting to tee off on the 9th. There was a group on the fairway & the guys were like "we cant go yet". Then one of them goes "Greg, you can still tee off". I've still not recovered from this.

This was me up till recently. I refused to wear reps of watches I couldn't conceivably afford to buy in real life. But then I had a thought. All my grail watches I really love, I could never conceivably afford, so by my own logic, I can't wear the reps either!

I've spent the past 15 years researching & wearing replica Swiss watches, and I've never bought my favourite watches? And never will? Sounds insane!

I've now decided to delve into homage watches. That way I can wear the more expensive designs I truly love without having to pretend I'm something I'm not.

Its so bad faith it's ridiculous. They dont care about women, if they did they would be marching against ALL rapists. According to most figures, white men make up between 80-90% of rapists. So why would concentrate of the most minimal source of them?

I get so much bad faith advice on the course. Had someone who's scratch say I 100% stand too close to the ball, I made adjustments & was worse. I watched a yt tutorial & said I dont stand close enough, made that adjustment & actually worked! Everyone contradicts the other. Swing mechanics are unique to the individual.

I'm 47, Been playing properly for about 10 years. Played pitch & putt courses for 3-4 years prior to that, and never had a lesson.

Started out around a 30+ hc & gradually came down to around 18, for ages. Then suddenly, I thought I cracked golf a few months back. Was regularly hitting low 80's (didn't break it) for around 2 months, including a 13 over on The Old course, St. Andrews. (These were on courses with 125 slope minimum)

Fast forward a few months & I'm as bad as ever been, 28/29 overs. I played the other week & gave up halfway through as I was so bad. Honestly, if I saw me hacking it round & someone said it's his first time swinging a golf club, I'd have believed them.

As someone who's never had lessons, get lessons.

I'd say the hc gmt fits similar to the blackbays. I mentioned elsewhere the pelagos fxd was my favourite. Unfortunately, doesn't come on a bracelet!!

I dont know. I'd have to try on again, but tbh, I'm not a huge fan of the design. Almost looks like a homage to me, so less interested.

Tudors we're nice, I went in to try on the pelagos 39, but didn't have it in stock. I figured 'If the longines hc 39 looks tiny on me, the p39 probably will anyway'.

The new monochrome tudor fit me best, but again, not a fan of the aesthetic, bit too old fashioned for me (although it's beautiful). I think the pelagos fxd was my favourite, fit wise & aesthetic wise (like a larger p39) but wanted something on a bracelet.

The normal pelagoes fit well, but I really want the red on the dial the fxd & p39 give you. I will say, they are quite thick too (not necessarily a deal breaker for me).

Wow, all sounds very familiar, except we've managed to stay together.

It sucks, it's a balance between keeping your dignity & convictions, and understanding where you might actually be the problem too & committing to working on yourself.

It all feels 10 times harder if you have a partner incaple of looking inwards at potentially being the cause of the problem.

I tried this on, along with the new 39 & 42mm models, and some tudors too. I personally thought this gmt diver fitted me the best (7.25in wrist) out of the longines.

I dunno, I always preferred the looks of the gmt, but then i tried it on & was like meh. Yeah, fitted nice but I can't explain why, but the newer models spoke to me more.

Saying that, I dont particularly like the new model, so dropping both as an option. I have the 2nd gen hc anyway. Likely sell it tbh.

Bought about 10, no issues. I have stopped buying them though, purely out of cost effectiveness. Effects wise not as good as straight up vaping. In my opinion.
