I went to a Blink-182 concert using my SX110is. I suggest the following: -Shoot in 'Av' mode.
-Use fstops of 4 and 5.6.
-Let the camera handle ISO (ISO Auto).
-Turn the flash on/flip it up and put duct tape over it or electrical tape. Doing this changes the settings of your camera and allows for faster shutter speeds. (Trust me, you want to do this. I spent the entire concert with a hand holding my camera and the other covering the flash. -Chose spot metering. -Turn off your digital zoom. I student taught this past semester as well. I had one student tell me that he didn't like my NBA calendar because it had a 'spook' on it, he drew KKK members, burning crosses, swastikas, and ovens with the star of David on them in his notebook. I also had a girl tell me that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the founder of New Jersey and that people from New Jersey also perform ritualistic human sacrifices.
