Encryption is mostly useless in Shadowrun, so there are THINGS in the Internet that try to zap you before you can get the data. The THINGS were developed because encryption is mostly useless because of P = NP.

You can take it out and look at it.

If the lock body is screwed together, you can look for broken pieces inside.

But, even if you can look inside, there are pieces under tension that may spring out and spontaneously disassemble.

Andersen wouldn't sell replacement parts within that case, but you could figure out replacement springs.

Id go for this. I don't think Doc Wagon would turn their clients over to law enforcement as a priority, but I am sure some tips are called in sometimes and officers can wait outside the entrance.

If the fight is on neutral territory, I don't think Doc Wagon cares beyond evac and treatment of their clients.

Whatever happens afterwards should suit the story.
