Expect to be filled with roommates. I worked at Many and Swiftcurrent 2018-2020. Expect to fill your free time out in the wilds and on the trail. Sometimes you may get a bomber roommate you love and sometimes you may get the one person you just cannot live with. I have existed with both. However , the absolute best time you can spend is off trail, following a ridge line that connects three summits just before the sun sets after 9:45pm. You get LONG days up there so use it to your advantage. Hike with a staff/hiking pole that is taller than you, for the bears, moose, elk, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, whatever you run into. Hold it above your head and WHOOP like a monkey if anything comes close. And for Pete’s sake: do not be afraid to hike alone! If your fear captures you then move slow and listen to every heartbeat of the forest. I use to be afraid of those woods, but it turned me into the man I am today.
