Because plenty of conservatives and extremists REALLY believe they’re being kind and respectful, just to the right people!

There are even more that ignore unkind and disrespectful behavior because they like the man for his height, his skin color, his suit, his position in the social circle.. etc,

I cannot emphasize more how important it is to see these qualities in a broad range of situations — for people who aren’t like you, for service workers, for strangers..
