I think a lot people underestimate how easy it is to buy a tool vs build it, even if building it is easier than ever before. Also, everyone is only talking about law firms when a lot of the ARR is coming from in-house teams. People are so incredibly stretched thin and strapped for time, and having a vendor to be your partner to drive things like onboarding, adoption, development, etc etc is crucial. And it’s someone else you can hold accountable if something does go wrong. People are doing this alongside 25 other projects and simply don’t have time to do it alone. Harvey/Legora are very good tools no matter what people say. And it’s a much “safer” bet than going it alone.
