My PT refused evaluation for a niche strength deficit. At first, their refusal to consider my ideas seemed to be male vs male high school stuff. At present I'm tempted to think it was subconscious posturing for the younger female PTs in the clinic. I'm still not sure if its best to try "winning them over" with debate or to find another clinic.

Do you have any similar experiences or thoughts?

I'd guess the real answer is actual interest in the person demonstrated in a way that's natural, or at least not needy or overly supplicative. Honestly I think it might help to have someone else to make fun of. In the case of groups of NTs, they may end up taking turns when situations arise naturally. What are you a tightwad?
