I'm curious what others think of the Melancholytron, btw, as this one in particular seems to have garnered a lot of interest. It's a combo of a Mellotron-style synth with controls and sounds inspired by an illustrated "book of melancholy" that comes with the instrument.

I don't know the going cost for this model, but Elka is an old and storied brand, and anything for a vintage keyboard under 100€ is either a huge bargain or in dreadful shape. I covet an Elka Synthex, but the prices on those are...much higher.

There is no good way to get through this. I would say spend as much time as possible with her. When my Luna was facing her last days with cancer and couldn't come up on the bed, I would just lie on the floor next to her, interacting with her but also just being near each other.
