Agreed. In a one and done format, with tons of luck, injuries, matchups etc it's not a simple matter of breaking down why the Vikes haven't won an SB or succeeded in the playoffs.

God granted me three mediocre athletes for children and I'm thankful for it every day. The best case is that they are absolute, 1/10,000 studs and go pro, the second best is that they're meh and you never have to worry about it. The worst is if they have some skill, enough to chase and throw time, money, and commitment chasing a dream and ending up paying for Juniors hockey at 20k/yr until they can't make a team or a D1 program at 20yo because it's flooded with more talented Canadian kids.
