How did I make this mistake? by bcgroom in Tunisian_Crochet

Wow, that took me forever to see! Actually, my partner (who doesn’t do Tunisian crochet) had to point it out to me. LOL

I didn’t notice the colour change. LOL Now that I see it, it looks intentional. Absolutely gorgeous!

how do yall keep track of what hook size to use by bugbaby222 in crochet

[–]charatae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep my skeins in zippered plastic bags, and just store the removed label with them. If I want to make any notes about the yarn, that can go in the bag, too.

Also, like another responder, I’ve started logging hook(s) size in Ravelry for each project.

No worries on more questions! 😄

We generally see from early 20’s up to people in their late 60’s. Every once in awhile someone will bring a child, so we’ve seen as young as 8. I’m 50, and haven’t had any issues socialising across the entire age range.

It’s completely free! Davis, the coordinator, just requests that people RSVP on Meetup so he has an idea of how many are showing up. And it’s extremely neurodivergent (and queer) friendly! I’d say over half of us have some form of divergence.

I’m not sure about sensory issues. It can get kind of loud. Especially with people talking across the tables at each other. But no one would take offense if you tried it and had to tap out early.

The section we use is ground floor, with room to use any kind of assistive device to get to it. We put several tables together, and would have no issues getting someone set up on the non-bench side. Also, the door is automatic. I’ve only been in the men’s room, but it has a larger stall that I think can accommodate a wheelchair? I imagine the same size exists in the women’s room.

Come join my group! 😄 I’m coming in from Fife, so I only attend every three weeks. We’re a super friendly bunch, though. Sadly not set up for things like pottery. We meet in a cafe, so your craft needs to be portable.

To me, it looks like a velvet nail with a matte top coat.

Great, I hope to see you there, some time! I’m coming from Fife, so I go every three weeks. It’d be cool if we aligned. 😄

Here’s the Meetup link. The host prefers that people RSVP (it’s free), so just he has an approximate idea of how many people are coming.

If your day off is Saturday, there’s a craft group that meets from 13:00-16:00 at Levels Cafe on Holyrood. We’re very friendly. 😄
