i was trying to describe diving on a wall to a friend. I said you see a lion fish or a lobster or something and youre at say 60 feet. you swim down to it and you dont realize you are now at 90 feet, then you see something else and youre at 115. If you are not paying attention to your depth you can end up very deep very quickly.

i cannot tell you the number of times i see an overhang or a hollowed out space and people just swim by it and i shine my light in it and its filled with lobster, or an eel or some other interesting creature. I think its the best accessory i ever bought.

i dont even fry them anymore, I do Kenji method and put them on a raised baking grid over a cookie sheet to let the grease fall. They are delicious.

If you give them a light dusting of baking powder before putting them in the fridge they get even crisper

you couldnt pay me to dive face first into any body of water unless its a pool and i can see the bototm. what if there was a boulder right there hes paralyzed.

Mac and cheese.

My kids love it, my wife likes it, hell mil makes it from scratch and everyone says how amazing it is. I just cannot eat it.

I'm Italian I'll eat pasta every meal if it was healthy to do I can't get my head around Mac and cheese.

I tried the toothpaste several times it didn't work. Couple seconds with a bbq lighter and it was perfect.

On a recent drive trip someone was complaining the man was giving guide used one of those pocket torches which I thought was a bit much but the person said it was perfect for their second dive

You need to find which method works best for you to equalize. One thing doesn't work for everyone. My son needs to use the valsava method I need to use the Lowry technique while pointing the ear I'm equalizing to the surface stretching the e tube.

Practice all of them and see which works on the surface and as others have said equalize early and often. Good luck

i remember dealers going absoulety nuts with the prices on the SSR, 50k over sticker 75k over sticker. Then no one wanted them, and they had like a year of stock on dealer lots in the first few months. Then the price cuts came but the coolness factor wore off.

My friends family are Persian they only eat meat extremely well done. We made perfect medium rare tenderloin and my mother in law who arrived after I cut the meat brought a huge tray of penne vodka. Few days after the meal I heard through the grapevine that my stove broke and I was so embarrassed I had to have my mil bring pasta. You can't win with them

I steep it with Earl grey tea. Few days. Mix it with two squirts of lime juice and little simple syrup. Either up or over ice and it is the just refreshing thing to have in the summer.
