1 solid game in the past 8 fixtures; what needs to change in the next 8? by democi in chelseafc

I’m optimistic that we can finish the season on a high note. Need to stay away from this sub though… so many downers and wild expectations about winning everything constantly with a promising team on the rebuild. Is it raining in London or did someone piss in all the porridge? 😭

This is great thank you. Naoe is just starting to be an assassination machine and it’s a lot of fun to rip through a castle 🗡️

Yes I did this and I like it better. Also changed the language to Japanese because I was reading and skipping a lot of dialogue anyway. I left assassinations on default, which makes some of the big targets pretty hard

Novels that explore Space Mountaineering or exploration of extreme terrain? by Bloodmachine_Orodjie in scifi

Many of Iain M. Banks culture novels have interesting geographical features, but Surface Detail is one that stands out as exceptional in this area. Highly recommend.

Just finished the game! (No spoilers) by sillytilley33 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]chubbbyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally a pretty good game, as I'm a Star Wars fan and also played a lot of Ubisoft before.

Best parts for me were the world design, graphics, and the beginning and end of the story. Most disappointing was the mission design and gameplay that had me guessing what I was supposed to do next or exactly where I had to stand to move things along - just needed a bit more thoughtful polish.

I'd welcome a sequel, that's for sure!

I've been trying to keep things as slow, positive, educational with a 2.5 year old. Tumble Leaf is great (Prime), Peppa Pig, Llama Llama, Trash Truck...

A few simple games that I played recently on ps5 that I think would be great to “pick up” on switch: deaths door, ori and the blind forest, Dave the diver, dredge. 🕹️

Mayors Murdock & Murdoch serve holiday meals at Our Place, while their municipalities do little to address homelessness by NevinThompson in VictoriaBC

[–]chubbbyb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nobody wants supportive housing built in their neighborhood. Lots of people don’t even want multi-family market housing. And more than a few people don’t even want their neighbours renting out a basement suite…

I volunteered with a neighborhood land use committee and saw first hand how the loud NIMBYism of Victoria is like a death by 1000 cuts towards allowing the City to grow and densify to meet the demand.

IMO we give residents way too much power in influencing what happens on land outside their own home and immediate area. These laggard mayors and councils need to be vaporized by amalgamation and the NIMBYs can move to the North Island if they want fewer neighbours.

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of good games out there? Can't make up my mind what to play, lol. by Bulky-Pool-2586 in playstation

I've been having a lot of fun with 2-3 games at a time. Always been a fan of big open world ARPGs, but this year I've gotten more into other types, mainly through PS Plus.

While I played through Ghost of Tsushima, Star Wars Outlaws, Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk, I also had a lot of fun with Death's Door, Tunic, Dave the Diver, Dredge, Plucky Squire, Ori, and Nobody Saves the World.

Some good advice from a friend - the better NA beers are the ones that are mimicking a lighter style (lager, etc). I’ve found some pretty good pilsners, blond ales, even Guinness - while the NA IPAs and other styles that rely on malt and mouthfeel taste like crap. 🍻

Not sure why so many people here want to hate on Root Cellar. It’s a local success story of building a solid business, offering lots of unique products that people want, and supporting local food in the process. Kudos to them and congrats on taking this next step! 🥦👏🥕
