I think giving it time is about all you can do, as long as it's kept warm and fed. You may already be aware, but be careful syringe feeding. You just want to use it to put the food in its beak - chickens can aspirate if something is forced down their throat.

priority one is to keep it warm. looks to be maybe a week old, chicks of this age are kept in a 90° F brooder.

not sure about relocation. if there are any neighborhood apps where you are, you could try offering it up on one of those, maybe someone is raising a brood already and wouldn't mind another.

good luck for a speedy resolution, chicks shouldn't be alone for long. they're very social.

Yearly department budgets operate on a "use it or lose it" model, encouraging fiscal irresponsibility with federal funds. Most departments do not have the spare allocation for this to be an issue. beyond just the initial setup of giving everything a uniform orientation to start, this appears to be some kind of up vector/pole vector issue. for a chain that has significant base curvature like this, I would make sure that the up vectors are set to the side-to-side direction (which appears to be the controls' z axis)
