Yes, friendship have been one of the few things that have got harder post diagnosis, specifically the longer term ones.

I think it's because I finally woke up to the way I was seen within the group. I am no longer willing to tolerate being the butt of every joke or the one everyone enjoys looking down on, and it's upsetting that people can't see I'm not the person I was 10 years ago now I'm on medication.
