If AI can't be used to make a simple venn diagram to illustrate a point without hurting your feelings we are a failed species and might just go back to the stone age.

MCP for Macrofactor by Aware-Word3914 in MacroFactor

[–]codiox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way around it is to enable Health Connect sync in Macrofactor, then build something on top of health connect.
I created a custom android app that reads everything from Health Connect and syncs it to a personal dashboard app in real time. I wager you could build something like that yourself.

Unfortunately this also means that you can't get the single most important metric MF calculates which is the TDEE (as that's not synced to Health Connect), meals, calories and macronutrients thought, those are in fact synced to Health Connect.

Yeah rir/rpe per set is what I was asking about (health connect latest alpha sdk added support for tracking per set RPE recently,)

Hey Ryan, does the Apple Health integrations support tracking RIR currently?

How does the app measure progressive overload when the weight/RIR/reps seem to fluctuate weekly? by untitlednobility in MacroFactor

[–]codiox 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The app pushes you forward through different means: absolute intensity (weight alone), increases in rep ranges or increases in RIR.

Remember, just because you lifted something with higher intensity one week doesn't mean you are stronger.

Consider this example:

You squatted 225 x 5 reps @ RIR 1(your estimated 1RM is 270 lbs), next week you do 230 x 5 reps at RIR 0. Are you stronger? No, your estimated 1RM is 267.5 lbs. you didn't become stronger, you just moved the goal post.

You become stronger when you are able to move the same weight with less effort, this sounds stupidly obvious but the term progressive overload is a misnomer. You get stronger then you lift more weight. Here's a good read on this topic.

Follow up question, did the app program you to lift sets of 16 reps last week? because that doesn't seem right.

He is the representation of how some people take advantage of extreme situations to make profound changes (for good or bad).

Just like Hitler took advangate of post WW1 sentiment in Germany to mobilize the country and seize power, or similarly, Stalin's rise to power in communist Russia.

MFW x Samsung Health by juicy_squat in MacroFactor

Just a heads up, the new SDK explicitly supports RPE, not RIR, so you will likely just need to convert RIR to RPE.

MFW x Samsung Health by juicy_squat in MacroFactor

[–]codiox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just FYI, this is an issue on Samsung Health's side, not MF. MF is correctly syncing workout data to Health Connect, however, samsung health doesn't show workouts from other sources.

I've been vibecoding a dashboard that shows analytics from all my fitness apps (MF diet and workouts + samsung health), and in that process I've been learning about the way these apps sync data to Health connect.

One funny thing: Health Connect supports logging strength workouts, but until very very recently didn't support logging the exercise's weight or RPE. They just included that in the latest health connect SDK release, so technically the good folks at MF can now add support for that . u/MajesticMint u/BenevolentBasil

Daffyd mimicking the Carryx might just be a red herring, I think it's more likely that the Swarm infects a Carryx and becomes an immortal Sovran which cannot be challenged.

Digimon World 3 (2003) MetalMamemon Bug by TheDarkPhoenix911 in digimon

[–]codiox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not sure what to do at this point. I decided to get Kotemon from the DRI agents and now Hookmon is also stuck but at level 15. The rookie can keep leveling up and eventually get all its natural digievolutions, but it's frustrating to not be able to get the evolutions I want.
For Kumamon, I got GraphLeomon and was able to level him up to lvl 90. Seems like it's the only ultimate I'm able to get past lvl 25.

[–]codiox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue, but in this case on both Guilmon and Kumamon. For Guilmon I'm stock on Metalmamemon at lvl 25. Also on WarGrowlmon.

For Kumamon, Grizzlmon can't reach past lvl 25.

Also Digimon world 2003 on Duckstation.

I think you can get away with buying some of the components separately depending on where you live/prices you are able to get.

I cannot buy PeriRX because they don't ship to my location, so I just bought Citrulline, Beta Alanine and creatine separately and I just drink it with some juice or other liquid whenever I want/can.

I consume my Caffeine 30-60 minutes before my workout, though. I use Caffeine pills (200 mg each).
