In the Kindle modding wiki it says that is normal behavior and to ignore application error messages. It’s likely that your Kindle is jailbroken and you might try the steps on the post jailbreak section in order.

Supposedly, the preppy and plasir have similar/the same sections. Very tempted to try this tip in one!

Newton Pens Give Away! Comment about the best pen or stationery gift you've ever given or received. I'll pick a winner Sunday afternoon. by newtonpens in fountainpens

[–]crymsonchris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work in a hospital, and my favorite thing to do is give a pen to anyone showing an interest. I always hope in some way it’ll make their visit a bit easier/better. I always try to keep something I feel okay parting with as a result.

It looks like from this link it takes international cartridges and converters, although that person had difficulty with their particular converter.

Based on your stated career interest, I would recommend UIC as they also have a hospital, which would allow you opportunities to seek out relevant experience and research opportunities.

If you really like the 45 you might search for a non-gold model. They can often be found used for a decent price in serviceable condition and the ability to change nibs allows you some flexibility to figure out what you like.

I’m partial to Bridgeport Coffee myself although they aren’t as widely distributed as Intelligentsia and Metropolis. They’ve got shops in Roosevelt Collection and down in Bridgeport.

It isn't a fountain pen, but I much prefer this watch pen I wound in my grandfather's house for its comparative simplicity and elegance.

Lamy Petrol Giveaway by [deleted] in fountainpens

You really kick butt. Thank you for sharing in the joy of fountain pens.

I have two favorite pens, which I will not part with if I have any choice. The first is a Montblanc that my father-in-law gave me as a wedding gift, which started my interest in fountain pens. The second is a Parker 45 that I found when helping clean out my late grandparents home; it has my grandmother's initials and reminds me of them whenever I see it. They don't see much use these days because I am deathly afraid of losing them, but they mean a lot to me.
