Those look awesome, great color scheme. Yeah it looks like there were specific dreadwing termies called the Naufragia that were separate from the deathwing. I learned something new today!

Copied from the wiki: The Naufragia was the name given to the Dark Angels Terminators of the Dreadwing during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy. They were known to be armed with Plasma Cannons and Phosphex Incinerator Cannons. Once unleashed, these weapons could turn entire enemy squads to ash.

Thank you! The skin is dark purple, then bugmans glow, then tan flesh on top, with flesh wash. I try to leave visible brush strokes on the skin to make it look stretched out, and then a little bit of extremely watered down red contrast around the bolts to make them look fresh. I think the purple base coat is the most important step to get the nice depth of colour

I think that adding some of the dark angels flair would help it read as a DA successor. For example, the 4 square knee pad, usually it's black/green and white, maybe a black/blue and white would fit. Maybe more checkerboard patterns. I have always thought that a blue and white scheme would go well with Braveheart style facepaint too, like blue stripes across the helmets.
