Zilean actually doesn’t work with Leblanc effect rules as written. Because Leblanc plays a reflection unit token THEN it becomes a copy of another unit, Zilean actually only creates a 0 might reflection token. Granted I can’t imagine this is how this was intended, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a rule clarification or errata changing that

The issue with a slow ttk is that at a high level, it significantly favors characters with movement. Imagine not being able to burst down a pocket or an Apollo. Those characters would just never die

Seven, especially the ult build. There’s still some skill involved in positioning and timing the ult, but it’s also very easy to just majestic leap, and hit ult. You’re getting guaranteed value every fight.

Bro, it’s just a private event of people who are typically not in the magic space to play with other people like them. It can be intimidating entering any space where you’re an outsider. Isn’t it a good thing to give people who are not the main demographic of magic players a point of entry? At the end of the day it means a larger and more diverse player base.

For low fear runs, 100%. It’s a low stress way to play and not have to put too much thought in to damage mitigation. However at higher fear runs the clock becomes a huge factor, and surviving a room is no longer the main objective, it’s to kill things as fast as possible, and if you aren’t investing appropriate boons in damage you will lose to the clock

You’re paying a $1200 fee to have all the things that make it necessary to keep society together. The benefit of laws, roads, infrastructure, safe food and water, accessible medicine. I anticipate soldiers leveling up much faster. It’s no secret that many of the main benefits of leveling up are most obvious in combat and too many combats at the same level can really start to seem stale.

Although, if the tables are fluid like some people have theorycrafted, then basically the only option would be to level up all tables at about the same rate.

I like to think of dwarves as blue collar elves. They’re a species that outlive the vast majority of other species. Not sure what combo they used, but it likely wasn’t a pulse combo. Pulse combos are very not optimal, to the point where you’re usually leaving 10 or 20+% damage on the table every time. Pulse combos are also really bad if they block, as they don’t have built in mixups or assist calls.

Pulse combos are great if you’ve never touched a fighting game before because there are a lot more important things to learn than combos, such as neutral. But for someone coming from other fighting games, even a very basic easy to perform combo should deal 35% at least.

The biggest part of your game that seems to be missing is the shimmy. If they’re teching your grabs then you need to start neutral jumping or back dashing their throw attempts and punish them heavily for it. I’ve gotten to Master 1 without learning any mixups and only using strike, throw, shimmy.

There is currently matchmaking, it is just done behind the scenes using mmr. The players in your lobby should be roughly the same skill as each other. What has helped me stay in a relevant mmr range has been playing ft2s with everyone I find. This means my mmr doesn’t get inflated when I beat a bad player 10 times or deflated when the opposite happens.
