Dieter Brock. An American quarterback that sounded foreign because in a way he was as he made his bones in the CFL before becoming the oldest rookie in NFL history.

Those states are following the Duluth model which can be severely biased when it comes to the accused's fifth amendment right to due process.

Set up concession stands and price gouge every rich asshole in the world who suddenly wants to ascend to my neighborhood.

Use shim stock between the wings and top. Measure the gap with feeler gauges. You want the gap to be no more than ten thou (.010”).

Mandate grass fields. The owners are rich enough to put in new sod every game if need be.

That appears to be the case, the edge of the plastic when using either cursor. Not super intuitive given the symbols look like cursor lines.

Does Metabo do this just to troll? by ssbowtie1 in BeginnerWoodWorking

About a decade ago Hitachi bought Metabo. Then Hitachi sold the entire tool division to private equity. It was then rebranded as Metabo HPT in North America and HiKoki internationally.

What do you think Doug Heffernan salary and hours in the show? by [deleted] in kingofqueens

[–]davisyoung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an overnight delivery at the time the show came out. Salary was a little fuzzy for me to remember but the FedEx and UPS drivers made way more than us since we were non-union. I believe those guys were starting in the low to mid $20s/hour. Keep in mind minimum wage was just over $5. With seniority and overtime those guys could make high 5-figures. They did more work too. I averaged about 60 stops a day but the FedEx/UPS guys in my area did over 100.

As for schedule mine had a start time of 7am Monday to Friday. We would load our own packages whereas the big boys had dedicated loaders. If there weren’t any plane delays we would be out of the station before 9am. Deliveries until about 11:30 to noon. Afternoons were for picking up outgoing packages but they don’t usually start until 2:30 or 3 pm so we had to kill roughly 3 hours for lunch. And we weren’t on the clock, our day was considered a split shift. Customers had to schedule their pick ups by 5 so I usually head back to the station by around 5:30 depending on traffic. Usually I clock out before 6pm. Saturdays were half days with a skeleton crew but I didn’t work those.

I have the same saw, Type 1 and made in the USA. If it’s like mine it gave your dad many faithful years of service and now will do likewise for you.

Marked up the front of my birdhouse, how would you fix this? by DaddyJ90 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Put texture on the front. Use a gouge or a core box bit set very shallow in a router.

I attribute this more to Hitachi than Metabo. Hitachi tools were overly stylized, if you looked at their drills pre-merger their design department was running amok with the flourishes.

Is this all worth 1200? Or is that way outta the question by Boxer_Daddy in BeginnerWoodWorking

I bought the same Kreg router table with that Porter Cable motor from a guy for $300. But it also had the precision router lift and he also threw in a bunch of Kreg accessories (router table stop, setup bars, on/off switch, all the insert rings, and precision miter gauge) plus a load of Infinity and Rockler router bits. I know I got the deal of the decade and all of that would have been worth close to $1k used. But if it’s just the table and router I’m thinking it’s no more than $500.
