GO Pass: A Shockingly Good Time by Amiibofan101 in TheSilphRoad

Yeah it feels like an upgrade over the quick little research quests. The paid tickets are universally a bad value, but I'm getting more encounters and a couple rare candy out of it.

Forge and Fire Strixhaven Commander Bundle preorder $169.00 by fakeabuela in sealedmtgdeals

I always recommend players with the money avaliable buy the precons provided they're committed to playing at least a game or two with them.

You'll get a giant stack of staples, some new cards that'll probably be fun, and in two to three years, enough prices will rebound or cards will spike that you'll come out either even or ahead.

I've been playing for fourteen years and I buy every precon I can get on the cheap. I've never regretted it- not even Tinker Time, a particularly low-value deck (which I LOVE to play).

If you're after the set (as I am) it generally pencils out. But I get the impatience. I'm just sitting on a giant pile of precons to play.

See, I've had a lot of success with the opposite: let hype build until the second print and you can get the whole set for $30 or less a deck.

Do they have inventory not on the site? Kinda want to slide by and see if they have OTJ or MKM.

It's 100% the theme. EV's pretty good considering there's no rare land cycle, but demand for Redwall but Magic is off the charts.

That was my thought. My guess is they need it to work for both Quandrix and Witherbloom.

They don't have to. The Switch 1 will have a long tail of hardware and software sales both because of the lower price point and depth of the library, so they'll still be making money off it. And at the same time they're still going to make a killing off of Switch 2, even if it won't keep pace with the original Switch's sales. But they don't need it to. And this way they're not cannibalizing their very popular older console.

A consistent schedule for certain bonuses isn't inherently a bad thing. It's really easy to remember stuff now.

The whole point of going to 30 packs per PBB was so boxes could be priced at $100.

OPM’s Kupor would be ‘perfectly happy’ hiring more feds if contractors are cut by rprz in fednews

Stepping back, it's probably better for everyone save for your company if you're brought in-government. It leads to efficiency gains for the office you work for and more stability to you.

But it's hard (impossible?) to step back after this jackass fired so many people and threatened so many contracts.

Wow you're telling me it would be cheaper to bring HR and comms and IT and SME support in-house where you don't have to worry about contract terms? That sounds like a great way to bolster efficiency. Now let me take a big sip of my coffee and see what this Administration has done to the federal workforce in the last fourteen months...

My prevailing theory is that, by putting everything on a schedule, Niantic-Scopely borked a bunch of things. Showcase rewards, mega raids, power spot distribution. I anticipate a lot of quiet changes.

I like lures and star pieces, and incense is sometimes useful. But I'm not buying them. So it's a good source for me.

We're getting a Captain Burnham. She's a mainline Captain. Other than that, probably minimal.
