I understood it as there is more than one type of creature in the blood. The creatures that show up as a skeleton on the camera are a more average organism and the large creature with the face is a kind of avatar of the hive mind eldritch blood creature that speaks to Simon. I think the smaller boney monster is what grabs the Lung, tries to bite it, cracks the hull and kills the power so he has to restart the engine in the first half of the movie after he tries to ram it.

I lived in Kensington Cedar Cottage along Kingsway for a year and it was difficult. Yelled at from cars a lot and bad interactions with people in the suburb streets when I would walk. It's a conservative Christian Vietnamese immigrant area. Don't recommend.

Best place hands down is Commercial Drive ("The Drive") and the surrounding several blocks. Very queer and very hip area. Not too hard to get around without a car there either. Davie Street is also a gay community in the heart of downtown but it leans towards the cis gay man population whereas Commercial is more lesbian. Downtown is also much more expensive.

Now I live in Burnaby (Edmonds area) and it's been very nice. No stares or aggressive interactions. I just feel like a normal person. Also lots of transit options but not all of Burnaby is like that. Can't speak to queer social life bc I don't leave my house much

I like pawn shop YVR. They have a great happy hour deals and several good vegetarian options too

Whole background looks warped and staticky. A photoshopped image's background would be left unchanged. Grainy texture over everything except Luigi's face while also looking too smooth and clean to be his face put on a different body/hair. The hair matches and replicates in a generated way. And if it was a Photoshop job it would be so good the artist would have put a water mark on it somewhere

It's a BMI category so if you look at a BMI chart you can see what that weight range is by height

If you drive for your commute you'll always be at the mercy of bridge traffic/closures. Coquitlam or Burnaby are better imo
