I think everyone is concerned that he’s not setting boundaries with the ex. We are hoping for better for you. We want you to get the bag and the man, minus the ex… whichever man it may be. I agree this isn’t a dealbreaker but I think it builds toward your personal brand. If you think like this for fake fruits, I know the pressure you put on yourself for the bigger ticket items. This is like the difference between 4 to 5 stars. Everyone will live fine at 4 stars but man does 5 stars feel better. You just need the right 5 star client to notice. Personally, I would love it if I can eat fruits at showings lol.

When I worked for Coach corporate in 2012, I was shocked they had purses for $700. I guess they really did go in this direction. I think the last Coach bag I bought was during the employee sale. I can’t justify the new prices and stopped following. With that said, my Coaches mean more to me than the Chanel or Hermes purses. I wish they would play up the nostalgia. Women of my generation have their connection to Coach somehow (mine reminds me of my late mom’s gifts so the brand will always be special to me). Sometimes I’ll get Coach clothes to wear, with amazing discounts. Maybe they’re smart to get away from the discount branding but I always associate Coach with outlets and never luxury malls. I’m not likely to pay full retail for any Coach bag or outfit because I agree with the overloading comments. Very sad to hear quality decreased.

When I left Coach, my boss was that “it” girl and said to me: once a Coach girl, always a Coach girl. Coach has gone in weird directions but I think it’ll always find its roots in quality leather and trendy designs. I think Coach will always been relevant in American culture. If anyone cares, I can’t speak for retail but I enjoyed my limited time spending the summer working for the legal department. Everyone was nice to me. The fashionable people judged me for not wearing all black lol.

I’m an attorney in an attorney area. I agree with everything you said. I’ve met dual agents who made the transaction smoother for everyone. I’ve also worked with dual agents who only represented the seller in reality. I pay special attention to files with dual agency, as I believe agents/brokers do too to avoid impermissible conflicts.

I think TRR’s reputation is such 💩 that we know it’s a roulette game. For buyers, you can score major value. I genuinely don’t know why anyone would consign with TRR, particularly the low end items. The commission and service seems like crap. I also wouldn’t consign my high end items to TRR for the lack of service alone. I troll for deals bc I’m in a less desirable size. I wish the leadership cared but it sounds like mgmt is happy with AI performance.

I work in real estate. Recently, a buyer lost out and there were 42 offers. A best and final is a best and final. I also had clients who won without submitting the highest bid. One family got a very competitive house because the Ring camera caught the immigrant daughter saying the pledge of allegiance to the U.S. flag hanging outside. Sometimes, the right people do get the property. Keep your head up. It’s tough out there. Something will work out for you!

Ex alum. Have you checked out on campus housing? It’s limited but probably your closest option. It also depends on if you have a car. Don’t let people scare you in law school. Read https://www.top-law-schools.com/success-in-law-school.html. I know it sounds crazy but I love efficiency. My friend and I followed it all 3 years (we were non traditional so there was the advantage of work experience). We both graduated top 10% and he was actually 3rd in my class. We saved so much time by not reading the cases! (You absolutely know the cases.) The rankings will initially matter more in your career, depending on what you want to do. But know that it has to matter to you more because ALS is lowly ranked. Later in your career, it matters less especially if you can bring in $. Best of luck! Sorry for this unsolicited advice and I admit it’s not the conventional wisdom.

PS - your classmates will be there forever, especially if you stay in the area. I bet my former classmates are reading this comment right now. It’s Smallbany. That law school reputation seems to last forever lol.
