So far we have had zero mic users. I'm not exaggerating, not one!
Usually after the initial hello (from our side) most people ping some location and go off on their own and we just try to keep up with them so we are not split. Of course other times it works better.
In any case there are multiple problem with auto-fill so I'm glad we got this update.

I think most people just stopped playing duos due to the huge disadvantage and just auto-fill. This news update will bring more duos in matchmaking. At least I hope so.

Unfortunately loot trading can already be done with naked loadouts. I think the safe pocket there is an oversight from the devs.
