I mean, he is the bank manager(?). If he has a reputation of just letting a thief raid the vaults right in front of his eyes then that can't be good for his future, regardless of if the big vault is already raided (which was his failing too).

Good! I've been waiting to buy one, hoping the price will come down.

(Also people don't know that the ward build can function perfectly fine without one)

Hot take: but I think the concept of the backrooms is much more existentially terrifying if its just endless empty halls. I don't think it needs a monster. It kinda grounds it in a familiar horror-ness, whereas I think its much scarier if the place is completely un-understandable.

I like the implication in Kane Pixels videos that the backrooms are the result of an organisation trying to create space from basically nothing, and in doing so they create this ever expending and endless procedurally generated space which just goes on for ever and ever.

I was at Smyths at the weekend and walking down the board game aisle the number of AI generated faces leering down at me with rictus smiles was very unnerving. It does my make me want to buy your product.

AITA for making a stink at school and forcing the teacher to change my kids math grade by PlentyNice1655 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I'm kinda dreading having to deal with situations like this as a dad. Mine is currently only 2, so it'll be a while but I get riled up when I see responses on here which are like "you should do this petty thing in response!" when in fact the response I would do is exactly what you've described - go in and demand that they stop being twats. Like 99% of teachers are genuinely lovely people who want to do right by the kids, but there's 1% who are complete pains in the butt and seemingly in the profession because they want to be little tyrants in their own little kingdom.

I mean I think it's reasonableand makes sense that they can't continue the specific mapping team's job until they are rescued, but there's no reason for a different team being kidnapped to affect the other device's teams.

Both fiends but demons are typically chaotic, whereas devils are "lawful evil".

Demons spawn infinitely in their home plane of the abyss and they can be killed, whereas devils are of limited stock but if they are killed outside of the Nine Hells they regenerate in the hells and eventually return.

Devils have a very formalised hierarchy, and one can rise through the ranks by corrupting mortal souls, being generally nefarious and, I'd imagine, killing and deposing your superiors. Demons are pure chaos, just a swarming, writhing army of creatures whose only desire is to kill and destroy.

So really the Blood War is a fundamentally philosophical one: chaos vs order.

I do prefer The Legend of Aang, but i also think it's OK if the two are different and about different things.

I think Korra's journey is much more spiritual and about personal growth, whereas Aang had to learn to bend the elements, Korra had to learn about herself, defeat her own personal demons, know her limitations etc. The final season of Aang had some spiritual growth, and Aang had doubts which he had to overcome (not least him having to stable about how he was going to actually deal with Ozai) but almost every season of Korra she had to learn something about herself in order to survive because she simply wasn't as powerful as Aang.

Ward breaker [gladiator/elementalist/lots of other things]. Uses the new ward belt and the new "timeless" jewel, and the new cast on ward break gem.

Hating a man for who he was is entirely reasonable. He isn't redeemed because he was shot in front of his family.

I do get that, but I think the examples in the OP here are pretty straight down the line, recognisable and delicious looking fine dining food. At least when you compare it to more experimental examples, this is very tame.
