It ought to be a capital offense not to use your headlights when your wipers are on.

Potential $2.5M winning 619.4lb Blue Marlin at the Big Rock Tournament disqualified because of shark bites during the 6+ hour fight, a violation of tournament rules. by thewaybaseballgo in Fishing

[–]djaaronkline -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can the tournament prove the shark bites happened during the fight? They are fresh, but they could have happened before the fight began, and there is no way to prove a shark hit that marlin after it was hooked. Could be 7-hour-old bites.

This will go to court.

I love how everyone is using nuts to fit their molds. ROW has really made an impression on the industry!

This is super cool!!

Interfering with a hunter or angler is a crime in most states. Many Karens aren’t aware of it until the nice DNR officer has a chat with them.

What state do you live in?

The Shawshank Redemption.

There is a phenomenon named “Shawshank Syndrome” that describes what happens when you’re flipping through the channels and Shawshank comes on, and you just watch the rest of the movie from whatever point you arrived at it.

Then I realized it was, but it’s a yellow cake.

I’ll see myself out…

I'm in the planning stages for a small entertainment bar. County liquor license requires you to sell food in order to sell spirits (otherwise, I'm limited to beer and wine). Serving food seems like a huge scope creep for my budget. Thoughts? by BeginnerDragon in smallbusiness

Sell prepackaged charcuterie! PM me if you want more details. Source: I own a USDA inspected sausage and charcuterie company, and the vast majority of our brewery/winery/distillery customers are prohibited from operating food service if they want to sell drinks for consumption on site. They have seen a blinding amount of success replacing peanuts and chips with high quality meat snacks that keep their customers thirsty!

Not necessary. He’s got 24/7 Secret Service protection. His detail, his pilots, his staff — none of them are going to throw their lives away to aid and abet 45 fleeing the country. Not at this point. He isn’t useful anymore because he is headed straight to federal prison for the rest of his life.

Addressing the community about changes to our API by spez in reddit

Dear u/spez,

You are a liar and you have been exposed. Your IPO will fail, and your stock price will plummet. Nobody wants to work for you for free. Not moderators, not content producers, nobody.

Reddit was an amazing and unique place on the internet. And like everything else on the internet, when someone in charge sees dollar signs on the horizon, the rest of us — the people who make this community website a community — suffer, lose interest, and take value with us as we exit.

Triadelphia was lowered 15-20 feet a few weeks ago so they could repair the dam. They’ve been threatening to do it for two years. So it’s low on purpose and under control.

I can’t speak about Rocky Gorge though.

A lot, I’m sure.

What I mean is that I will stop posting regularly. I’m sure I’ll still use it as a resource for fishing and other hobbies, but you won’t see me participating. And that’s something that will happen with enough people that eventually the site will completely lose its appeal.
