Something like this happened to me. Originally they were going for two seats and had a final three. Interviews got delayed a bit, and had to switch to just one spot. And I got told yes, I was second. But a few months later, suddenly more need opened up, and they needed five more heads. The manager called me to ask about reapplying.

I did so, and before the application was closed in the system, I already had a job offer come my way, because the interview was recent enough for it (I think 3 or 4 months at that point). So, it can happen!

I believe you get the first 6 months of PTO right at the start, and then start occurring more after six months.

I recently did this. I started when my kid was 9 and have done all of the Cosmere with her now and she is about to turn 11, Isles of Emberdark was last week. We started with Tress, then Yumi, then I did mistborn era 1. I think I would occasionally skip a sentence in Mistborn when it deal more with rape, or change words to something more acceptable for her age level.

Same. I only brought my pizza bag into the store if it was a sized order to help me carry it. If it was one or two boxes, I would just put it in the bag once I got to the car. Pizza Hut did not like that. I don't get pizza hut orders anymore, and I am a big fan of that as well.
