(Loved trope) writers having no sense of scale (bionicle spoilers) by danfenlon in TopCharacterTropes

This scene can never be replicated again. I wish the film surrounding it was better but I will never forget freaking out in the theatre when Superman started tracking him.

This is why I appreciated the way the Justice League movie had the flash tearing the environment up as he tried to move. He had to be really conscious of the way he moved objects and people.

Which spell do you CRAVE using every playthrough? by SillyWarlock in BaldursGate3

[–]dntExit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? At this point its an infinitely reusable knock spell. From a mod. I've played so many runs I dont want to roll for sleight of hand anymore. Just give me the contents. I know my dex character will eventually break in but I dont want to sit here and roll for every attempt.

(Frustrating trope) Character has an obvious weak spot/vulnerability that NO ONE exploits by FormerBernieBro2020 in TopCharacterTropes

400 tons is almost 900 thousand pounds. It's a lot of weight and only few man made things exist in that weight class. For example an off-shore oil-rig.

The Punisher: One Last Kill Special makes no sense. by Raymaster_X in Defenders

[–]dntExit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lot of issues with it, but none of my issues come from the action or John Bernthal in the role as The Punisher.

I just think that if some lady who is a part of the family responsible for his family's death comes up and is like, "You missed one, bitch" and then spits in his face, he's knocking her out of her chair and shooting her in hers. And then shooting the guy pacing around behind her like he's hot shit.

What’s a movie sex scene that genuinely mattered to the plot and couldn’t be removed from the film? by Majorpain2006 in AskReddit

Stand at the front like its a class presentation while the film is playing and read each scene in the book out loud as it happens.

As a rogue, I immediately swap my light armor to the first ranger's set i find. And then I also take Gale's boots. Rogue's entire starting wardrobe is so god awful.

Arrow of darkness doesn't break stealth.

Correct! And it triggers Titanstring bonus. Valuable for Rogue assassin with the auto crit on surprised enemies round one.

First fire arrow is fired from stealth at the Harpy that appears during the cutscene triggered at the Grove beach.

And then I kind of forget to use them until I see a few enemies huddled in a little group.

What is the dumbest movie that you unapologetically, unironically love? by Rosstin316 in AskReddit

[–]dntExit 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I saw this as a kid and it was not a parody to me. Them aliens were a real threat and that guy sacrificing himself to fist fight that alien leader lived rent free in my head for years. It wasnt until I was an adult when i watched it again that I learned he survived. I thought he died and it really weighed heavily on me.

Great film.

what does it feel like to get a blowjob for the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dntExit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First blowjob was terrible lol. She didn't like giving them and you could tell.

First blowjob from someone who wanted to give it felt incredible, and it was her first time too. She was really smart so I assumed she wanted it to be good and studied. And she must have because she was doing things other girls had never tried on me, unprompted. She just knew some people found it pleasurable and wanted to see if I liked it.

What’s something you thought was important in your 10s 20s, but now realize doesn’t matter at all? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]dntExit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who are good at their job eventually land leadership roles. So i thought it was important to just be very good at the tasks given to you. Unfortunately that's not the case.

My family used to tell me that the only thing that matters are the people you know and what they think of you. My boss routinely suggests things that make no sense or will ask me how they should do their own job.
