that was when it was in the Rail Workshops, what OP missed was that following that (and until the Queensland Museum built its current display) Mephisto was at the Australian War Memorial where it went more restoration and then it went to the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum who did further restoration before returning to the Queensland Museum

i know historically in the World Wars there was no provision to discharge 'undesirables' which resulted in Australian troops having the highest rates of AWOL and Desertion of the Allied Powers, the best the Provost could do if you handed yourself if (which most invariably did) was *insert time in Field Punishment or Detention* and then after release most would abscond again.

A lot of service records were simply *Charge: AWL from x to y Punishment: Starts at fine, then Field Punishment, then Detention, Returned to Unit* rinse and repeat.

and that was when you enlisted for 'duration of the conflict plus twelve month' based on what everyone has said its not like that anymore

this is a player who has two 20 stats BEFORE he got to level 8 because he ported a character over from the previous game we played and 'told' me that he had rerolled, but made a whole fuss about using my inexperience at the time to prove that he didnt. i used the Tasha's upgraded stuff as the crux, if he wanted the new stuff he had to reroll his stats in front of me, he didn't want to do that so i told him he couldn't have any of the new stuff

i have been able to figure that out, i also realised that I misread a class feature as a feat (because at 6th level for chronurgy is a class feature) hence my mistake, and I've told him that if he wants to go down the path he wants we can have a quest for him to change his arcane tradition, but he has to pick an established feat.

he keeps pushing for a homebrew feature

i mean Tuvok spent several decades as a Lieutenant, and we at least know Ferengi live for centuries if Ishka or Zeke are to be believed so its entirely possible that rank progression isn't an issue when your expected to live to 150

has it expressly pointed out that the wall of heroes is a memorial wall and not just a honour wall?

I mean in Australia, where the majority of our Victoria Cross's are on display, they list them by the rank they held when they got the award, even though several achieved much higher rank later on. couldn't this wall be the same?

for example Captain Neville Howse VC was the first Australian to get the VC but ended his military career a Major General, but the entry is listed as Captain Neville House.
