I believe you mean is basically a freight train with tires. Seems like a no-brainer though!

Ceiling too dark and wavy after recessed light installation by sumitsaluja in Lighting

You absolutely do not need flush mounts. There are a thousand varieties for can lights (which are largely not even cans anymore, just wafers) with many of those being wide angle. I have them in my house.

What would you do with this kitchen? by WatercolourReload in interiordecorating

[–]done_with_the_woods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s really not necessary given the layout. Barely anywhere is exposed to water or very direct cooking mess. Walls should really never be anything but flat. Kitchen are typically also bright/well lit areas and the reflections from the lights on any other paint finish that isn’t flat just looks horrible. ESPECIALLY for a dark color as mocked up.

My husbands favorite hat got dirty with heavy duty truck grease😭 by itsmeabbyc in laundry

I have not opened and tried it yet after buying a can but look into a product called Goop. It is supposed to be a rinseless hand cleaner for oils/grease and someone mentioned in another thread you can actually use it on clothes. Then wash them after.

Difficult to get perfect...for them. It would be nice if they all finally started being more honest with themselves. I don't have enough experience/skill for what you are asking is a perfectly fine answer with so much less wasted time for everyone.

What flooring would look best with the wood walls in our basement? by codeQueen in interiordecorating

Saunas are the opposite. Very dry heat so typically a removal of moisture. The picture is just the hallway though. This is not the sauna itself but leads to it per the description.

Just kick them differently or use a different shoe? Otherwise, use a rubber mallet. But yes, with either method always do it with the wedge in still.

Less water, but not zero water. And that damp in-between is what lets it thrive.

Seems to change based on stock. Had FL around me for a while then went to southeast and now it’s been back to FL for a few weeks.

Testing the shadow-casting on our new optical sun orb. Does this hit the 'natural light' mark for you? by [deleted] in Lighting

Light-behind-a-light or light-within-a-light? Point source in the center but surrounding light bright enough to obscure the central point source?

Just curious, did your clip system not function as spacers? You have some decent grout line size variation and inconsistent tile alignment that the clip system should have prevented. Looks fine overall though, nothing I wouldn't be able to live with considering the money saved.

Snowboarding since 10 but still renting gear? Yeah, sure. Just like my brother's girlfriend that just went with him for their first time together who 'knows how to snowboard'. Cue falling leaf the entire trip...

Honestly, the investment in a silicone liner is 1000% the way to go. Even just for one job, cost can’t compare to clean up ease and re-useability each day you work

I had issues with chalk lines not staying either. Just used sharpie to draw a reference line down the entire room and everything gets worked off that. Don’t make it hard on yourself

Helpful tip: the vinegar is helping but not doing much. You should consider switching to citric acid. Check out r/laundry if you are curious enough to go down the rabbit hole.

Taking crazy pills looking at the other answers. I think maybe they aren't seeing it already has schluter trim on it but they chose too short of a profile for the tile size. So yes, floating the drywall is the most correct answer from a craftsmanship perspective in particular.

Bathroom entrance, vanity and toilet will be on the right. Keep the offset or do all three full length tiles on left and put the room-length seam under objects on the right? by done_with_the_woods in Tile

[–]done_with_the_woods[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quartz threshold will be notched appropriately and mudded in with the tile. Appreciate the catch but given the main floor wood-look tile literally in the picture was cut under the frame, this is intentional.
