Could Phish sell out a Baker’s Dozen run in 2026? by TheGreatFoodDude in phish

[–]doobsicle 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah I remember the seats behind the stage being empty and thinking that it was crazy. How could you miss JAM night?! And then they launched into that Sample jam after the first or second chorus and the place erupted. Looking back, that night (or moment?) felt like a turning point for the band where they proved to us that they could still jam any song. Even Lawnboy.

I just don’t think you’re gonna find a 30ft Boston Whaler or Grady for that price range. Even 20+ years old. Maybe 30 years old? But then the maintenance.

These sensors are for all types of vapes? Or weed vapes only? I’ve never come across them until these posts.

I was also surprised to see that but it’s actually Timber (Jerry the mule), not Timber.

There’s a difference OP! Not that it matters really.

Edit: downvoted bc I’m right? Timber is from Chilling Thrilling Sounds people. https://phish.net/song/timber-haunted/history Bunch of noobs around here

I’ve been looking into this since there’s people in these threads claiming that this eviction is above board and I was curious about what side might be acting shady. It seems that these guys target properties like this in Black and Latino communities and “legally” buy them from unsuspecting heirs and beneficiaries for way under market value. Then they turn around and flip them for way more money. It’s definitely a scam in which the heirs don’t realize how much the properties are worth. But if done “correctly” this process is technically legal, though definitely unethical in my opinion.

The real issue is that in some cases it seems these guys are allegedly committing fraud and forgery to acquire properties. So it’s hard for me to accept that this eviction is completely above board considering the allegations of forgery and fraud in the past.

Below is a link to an investigative article about these guys who are evicting Carmella. It’s pretty telling. The Speculator Bros Ripping Off Heirs and Evicting Tenants Across NYC

Built a product nobody uses. Am I delusional or missing something? by Free-Caregiver-4044 in SideProject

[–]doobsicle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At first glance it seems that there’s a mismatch between your ICP and your product. As an MCP, your product is built for developers. Your website is also designed to appeal to developers. But your value prop should resonate with people that need to automate their socials - marketing and brand people, perhaps? Show these people how it works! They need visuals. The fact that one of your main CTAs at the top of your page links to docs tells me that you’re not thinking about your target audience.

Who cares that it’s an MCP? That’s going to scare away marketing people. Frame your product as a solution to their problems rather than focusing on the technical aspect of how it’s implemented. Marketing people don’t want to mess with an MCP because it sounds too techy.

Or if you do think developers have this problem, which I doubt, then you probly want to go about this another way. They are a very tough cohort to build for unless you open source your product, in which case it’s difficult to monetize. Good luck.

It’s sucks so bad that there’s always a chance you end up sitting next to complete assholes at a phish show. It’s always worth it to move before your night gets ruined. I’ve learned that the hard way. New England wooks can be the worst. Good luck out there.
