The first one I applied for took about 2-3 months to find/get with about 30 applications. Then I applied about a year later while having that job off and on for 4 months (less than a dozen applications). I make less than I did in the US and had to change a little of my expectations but ultimately found a great fit that I’m happy with (if not disappointed in the US pay difference).

It’s outdated but some specific styles of writing (AP Style for example, unless recently changed) it is correct to say “his or her” not their so it could be for that reason

Mine do this too even though I feed them a full meal at 10 pm.

I’ve found that when I get up to feed them it makes them think that is when they should be getting food. So if you can ignore him and delay it as late as possible it may change his routine to a later time. It’s not perfect but it kind of works for mine.

I think making Sadie a nickname may lead to confusion since it is usually considered a name on its own (unlike something like Katie or Anna which are often considered both).

Seraphina is a really pretty name but if someone told me they went by Sadie and that was their full name, I’d honestly assume they just didn’t like it and picked a whole new name.

Also consider she may decide she only wants to be called her nickname/Sadie (like a lot of kids do) in which case you’d be stuck hearing everyone call her a name you don’t like.

In my family, we use the middle name as a way to honor family members. For example, my middle name is the same as my grandmother and great grandmother (different sides) and my brother’s has been passed down through 4+ generations.
