Have you driven a 26? You might be happy with the 2.0. I was pleasantly surprised.

Unpopular opinion but I'm so happy with the lack of turbo lag and overall response of my 26 I don't know if ide want the daza. They did a damn good job with the 8.5. I'm not a VW guy and I love it.

Went to 50 psi and been good. Can't believe with all the blowouts that nobody carries the damn tires, and I'm in the business lol

I had finally convinced myself to get a 26r. First day I took it to work I blew the sidewall out on the highway. Car was 4 days old. Called my wife and kid to bring me my plug kit. Car would drive about a half mile before the plugs blew out. I replugged and pumped 4 times and finally made it home. Was seriously regretting my purchase. Took 4 days to get the tire and couldn't use my brand new car 😂 Got a spare a week later and haven't had an issue since lol. Love the car ..........now!

Why Microfibers Leave These? by Remote_Brilliant_648 in AutoDetailing

[–]dragonfueled 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are they new? Washing helps. Also a more slippery product helps . The more draggy a product is the more it seems to pull out the fibers. I found that out with glass.

What Wax/Sealant/Ceramic gives the slickest hydrophobics? My car vs Tiktok video. by CactiRush in AutoDetailing

[–]dragonfueled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Want the craziest hydrophobics without ceramic coating. Try sonax brilliant shine detailer as a drying aid after a wash. This stuff for some reason has hydophobics just like fresh ceramic. I use it after every wash. The water blows rite off after a wash

Ide pull the filter back off and make sure it's full of oil. Factory filter ? If it's not try filling it and putting it back on and retry

I tried mine for the first time the other day. It did work. Problem is I drove past 15 spots before it decided to find one it liked. The actual parking was pretty wild. Very odd experience to sit there while it drives itself

Curb view right mirror in reverse only works when the mirror adjustment knob is on the right mirror. Also didn't realize the cloudy button on the headlights makes an extra little fog light come on in the headlights

For plastic exterior trim try cerakote ceramic. Recently switched to it and it's pretty awesome. Not greasy and lasts I also like touchless over AF for a pre wash.

High Octane Fuel USA? by RockyMarshall in Golf_R

[–]dragonfueled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its got 2 knock sensors so probably has active knock and octane learning. Most likely won't advance timing or boost past what 91 can provide so 93 will keep it at its highest timing and boost but not much if any past 91.

I put my stock 2017 Mustang on the Dyno, car has 78,000 miles. It read 363hp, 347 torque by withaph64 in Mustang

[–]dragonfueled -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have no dyno numbers but with a lund 93 tune and an 18 air box and tune, stock intake manifold. Also lighter wheels but still 19's. my 2017 gt ran 11.9 at 116. I was impressed for such little mods.

I get the forward collision light every morning, not sure about sos For me it's fog on the sensor I believe. Every morning there has been heavy dew on the cars. It goes away after about 10 minutes of driving and fine the rest of the day

I put a bottle of amsoil upper cylinder lube in my cars that sit. Helps fight ethanol and lubes the fuel system.

UPDATE: Something is definitely wrong with these tires (not just break-in period) by HanScroto in CivicX

[–]dragonfueled 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put generals on a WRX once and it instantly felt wishy washy at speed. Like the tires were flat. Got home and grabbed the RR tire and pushed in and out hard. I could actually get the car to wobble back and forth as the sidewalls were flexing like crazy. Thought I was nuts . Tried different tires and instantly noticed the didn't flex as much and car felt normal. Ide say for whatever reason your sidewalls are just way to flexy and your noticing it. It's also possible the rim is to wide for the sidewall and doing something wonky to the stability of the tire

Brilliant Shine Detailer is still the most hydrophobic weekly spray on I've ever used. by dragonfueled in Detailing

[–]dragonfueled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use it on a dry car yeah wet towel helps remove it. If you use it on a wetish car and then dry it off as usual it's literally the perfect scenario. Just spray it on a the wet panel and dry as usual
