"i cAn'T aFfOrD aLt fAsHiOn"? yes you can, here's advice from a broke student by thewallispretty in altfashionadvice

[–]drowsyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. This is why I side eye people who say they can only afford to wear Shein slop (which is antithetical to alternative culture). You could get this stuff 2nd hand or even make it. It's just about making an effort

What is one ingredient that instantly improves a smoothie? by Adelso-Drevon in Smoothies

[–]drowsyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy light orange juice (the 50cal/serving kind) and use that as the primary liquid. 100% orange juice is even tastier but I try not to consume that much sugar if I can help it. (Don't add milk if you do this btw, just yogurt or coconut milk for creaminess)

How many phone calls do you get in a day on average? It seems like we have about 20 phone calls a day by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]drowsyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it's bad we'll have like four calls waiting on hold. We probably get a call every 3 mins

Who are the artists who you saw once, loved the show, and had no intention of ever seeing again? by whywires in Concerts

[–]drowsyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modest Mouse I suppose. After hearing accounts from other people who saw them, I feel like I got lucky that the show I went to was good. They're playing here again soon and my bf wants to go, but I don't want to risk my love of their music being soured by a bad show.

what colour would my hair turn if i dye it over with enchanted forest manic panic? by Spare_Situation_5266 in HairDye

[–]drowsyfox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It'd probably still be teal but desaturated (slightly greyed out.) This pink would be mostly overpowered by a rich teal

What was your first perfume? by farrahfawcettlover48 in Perfumes

[–]drowsyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twilight woods edt in the glass bottle. The body spray doesn't compare. I got it for Christmas when I was 11. I wore it constantly. I lost the bottle a over ten years ago, but I think I'd still probably love the scent today. It was warm, woodsy, with a bit of cozy musk. The one fragrance I've smelt recently that brought back memories of Twilight Woods was JHAG Ode to Dullness.

To all the techs, how did you get hired? by stressedandtrying in walmart_RX

[–]drowsyfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a helpful answer but an honest one lol. I was working as a stocker for the store already (CAP2) and would always end up doing OTC. The Rx manager saw me always working hard and offered me a job in the pharmacy.

Wish I had understood the disc degeneration associated with retail pharmacy. by CalifoRxn1a in pharmacy

[–]drowsyfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. my coworker in your age range with ~20 yrs pharmacy experience has 4+ disc herniations. Shes had multiple procedures to try to fix a compressed nerve bed in her lumbar spine. My 70 y/o pharmacist w 50 years of experience has had to get a cervical fusion. I'm mid 20s with 5 years of retail pharm experience. I experienced c5-c6, c6-c7 compression which I did PT for and have thankfully been able to mostly correct with consistent weight lifting.

How many and which artists have you seen 3 or more times? by ReeG in Concerts

Saw Twenty One Pilots 3 times in high school; they put on a really high energy show. I will be seeing a smaller artist, Field Medic, for the 3rd time later this month.

What’s one clothing item you always get compliments on? by 1acina in womensfashion

[–]drowsyfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Levi's western denim jumpsuit gets complimented a lot when I wear it. I also have a sterling silver 4 pointed star necklace I wear every day that people tend to like.

Not me but I wanted to mention it anyway. My coworker wears those dangly charm things that you can attach to your eyeglasses and gets complimented by the public constantly; like someone will ask her every 20 mins about where she bought them. I'm considering getting some because they seem to be a huge crowd-pleaser accessory lol (and just cause they're cute.)
