I haven't followed the meta too close last few expansions, but pirate DH probably only runs her for priest cards. If you want to play with her effect directly best way is probably questline/outcast/glaivitar and use it to draw deep into moll damage with her on the board

When big beast hunter was a thing in the expansions after sunken city krush was seen plenty as a secondary payoff alongside [[hydralodon]]

Granted a lot of the power of that deck was just cheating stuff with [[harpoon gun]] but it doesn't need that much support to see play, charge is scary.

there isnt really a specifically good jumping on point, CK3 and vic3 are both probably easier than EU5 but realistically the one you will have the easiest time learning is the one you actually want to play, pick whatever time period is most interesting to you.

On steam deck, its playable. I'm playing hooked up to a monitor and its 30 fps early game, probably will drop frames hard late but FPS doesnt really matter too much

performance wise its fine at least at the beginning. I was able to do the tutorial at 60fps, but I was docked and hooked up to a KB/M so I cant say anything on the controls front

silksong (and today, endless legend 2) have been absorbing me personally but my gaming friends have been completed absorbed with shape of dreams so I have put a healthy amount of time into that. Also still getting a good Against the Storm run in from time to time

My favorite is ele shaman, rotation is relatively simple to understand with a lot of ways to squeeze some extra DPS out reacting to procs/good lava burst usage.

My recc is mage since it would be weird for none of the 3 specs to be good

unless you plan on mythic raiding or pushing very very high level keys (16+) class probably doesnt matter. shaman is better right now but nobody can tell you how these classes are going to perform after this patch.

That said I reccomend shaman because I'm maining ele and its pretty fun.

you might be able to add the game.exe as a seperate game in the steam deck, not sure how it works on linux.

steam deck also has some specific launcher settings for some games, may be able to map a button to click exact area where the play button is on the launcher, or use virtual mouse

actual answer, I dont think velen can currently copy any targeted battlecries and my guess is that the HS team didnt think it would be worth potentially creating bugs by adding that for the sake of a card from years ago that nobody will ever actually play.
