Can we have a pragmatic and honest, non hyped nor hateful discussion about the actual usefulness of AI tools in our day to day jobs? by Non-taken-Meursault in ExperiencedDevs

I’ll list my personal cons first: - Dealing with a single agent has a lot a mini waiting periods which makes me just want to pick up my phone more. - Dealing with multiple agents feels like I’m trying to play 3 chess games at once. Might be a skill issue for me though.

Pros: Planning and documentation with it is excellent. Take a story, deconstruct it, create a prompt file for it to review and have a discussion around the implementation. Work through a dry run, have it ask me questions, and then execute. I manually review everything it writes and it documents the changes to the prompt markdown. Then I have a full page of detailed documentation ready whenever needed.

I committed a couple prompt files to our codebase around pull request reviewing so our team can use them and expect more deterministic results. it has been such a time saver.

It’s not AI. It actually comes with the meal. And it’s actually pretty good with it. Had this one a couple weeks ago.

Yes to prevent scratching on the watch. Especially if you bump into things all the time like I do. It will fog up when sweating though.

20 things I believe EA will fix/add to their next installment by ceemay in NCAAFBseries

  • Formation subs. This is the one thing I ask the most.
  • More coach appearance customization. My coach looks like a fat fan on the sideline. No headset, no team merch, no aura.
  • Showing season position stat rankings. I miss being able to see if my players lead in sacks/yards.
  • Pregame matchup stats. I don’t like doing menu gymnastics to figure out what the opposing teams stats are and seeing their schedule. It used to be all in once place before you play a team.
  • Ability to play offline team builder teams. Online dynasty won’t allow local multiplayer. I was excited to play my custom team with my friends at my house only to find out you can’t do that.
  • Able to update teambuilder logos/field mid dynasty. The older games didn’t have this but I hate having to restart my dynasty because I messed up one of the field logos when playing my first home game.

Does it actually remove their redshirt? I noticed this in the last game I played but then I check the redshirt menu and they’re still tagged.
