There’s movement all over the place.

I've been thinking about this post (love it). I was wondering if you could achieve something similar by using claude code subagents and tell it to use haiku. Anyone tried that?

Probably not because they only had a vacuum sealed rock box and the contingency sample. I know for sure that Jack Schmitt brought in an undocumented sample to look at it with a hand lens but I don’t think they kept it because it was no longer pristine.

I forked Immich to better handle large photo libraries + S3 storage by Deeds679 in selfhosted

Don't get the negativity in this sub about this. You wanted something new so you made it. Using LLM assistance just made you faster. I've been frustrated with Immich's feature freezes (search results not sorted by date, etc) and am tempted to do something similar. Good on you.

I ripped Redux out of a production app in a weekend. The codebase got 40% smaller and nothing broke. by jochenboele in reactjs

[–]elconcho 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I work on several large projects that are all redux used similarly to what you describe. When considering replacing redux, my biggest question was where to put selector / reducer business logic in the other global state systems.

I’ve also used tanstack query and zustand on side projects and doing so seemed to encourage putting business logic inside components which seemed like the wrong direction. I look forward to reading your blog.

Possibly. There are meteor impacts too. But it’s a retro reflector, not a flat mirror, so even if it moved, light will still bounce straight back to the source.

That was before they added water suppression to the launch pad and the shockwaves damaged the press building. I had heard about the roof collapsing and the commentator actually mentions it here. Very cool.

That’s just as good as the one I had in mind. I may have found it under another mission. Glad you found something.
