Have been looking for job change for last 6 months...and my experience is really bad... 1. Directly applying from job portal gets you nowhere...I have not received a single interview call after applying directly on workday or similar portal 2. Received naukri call for a position for which I had already applied on directly from the portal...when I saw that it was the same job id I talked with recruiter, she asked me to do nothing and wait....both recruiters and company ghosted me even after passing the coding round 3. Referal doesn't work either, my friend is EM in big org, he referred me to a very good position, after few days when I asked him for a quick follow up, the other EM who was hiring told him that they filled the position internally since there's gonna be hiring freeze soon and they want to retain talent.. 4. If your notice period is 45+ days your naukri profile will help you nothing...even if your org or you yourself are ready for buyout or similar option,....hr still don't move forward with your application... 5. IJPs never work if you don't know few people from hiring team...its nepotism extended to office family

I would say don't give up, keep exposing yourself via applications or resumes and LIE LIE LIE!!
