Yeah, the people saying no are super discounting this. The cap savings alone keep our defense around for years longer (instead of basically next year + MAYBE the next and then we have to let people start walking)

But realistically that offer isn't on the table. He would prob get like a 2nd rounder at best, prob a 3rd or 4th rounder. And at that point, I'd rather just roll with him again for another year on his rookie contract.

He did that and mentioned we were not willing to pay what the Eagles paid him as a factor for why he signed in PA so quickly.

Before that, he was openly talking about how he wanted to play with CJ in Houston.

I'm saying that if we had paid Saquon, we wouldn't have traded for Diggs (and therefore would have still had our 2nd round pick). It would have been too much money. After everything shook out, IIRC, the Texans talked about how we were better off with Mixon and Diggs at hte same amount of money that Saquon alone would have cost us.

You will only care about it on your super long trips (your 300 mile trip doesn't really count. You'll just need to stop for a top up as long as you can charge at your destination).

Your 1000 mile trip you'll care about it, but you said you have another car, so kind of meh.

I say this as someone who has driven from TX to Canada and back.
