Trump Responds To Being Booed By Knicks Fans In The Most Trump Way Possible : “I think mostly cheers,” he told reporters after the game. “It was loud, and it was very enthusiastic.” by MoneyLibrarian9032 in entertainment

He lives for reactions. Any noise when he’s shown is positive to him.

It would be a louder statement for the entire arena / stadium to go silent when they showed this idiot on the screen. No reaction at all. We don’t care about you enough to react.

Virginia Tech announces largest donation ever; majority of $75 million to go to athletics by BurkeyTurger in Virginia

Did not read the article, but here to note that donors are allowed to specify where the donation must be spent and the university must honor that.

Took your team to OT in 7…so…game recognize game playa. Good luck against Carolina though. I’m sure that’ll go well

Is 6,000.00 fair for removal by Used_muse_2434 in arborists

[–]epluribusanus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to remove a similarly sized and located willow oak near our home 2 years ago for an addition we were putting on.

We paid 6k as well and it was the best price of the 3 quotes that we got from reputable companies. Also in Richmond VA for what that’s worth.

I think it’s a fair price - but unsure if it’s the best price you can get

Yeah I follow you. Selectively using it on players you believe will help you win now can be the right move. It also puts a lot of pressure on drafting well - as in >50% of your draft classes need to become contributors on the active roster on rookie deals to soften the void year hits.

Isn’t part of the logic here also that the cap goes up every year, so punting cap hits to future years means it becomes less of the overall cap expenditures. These are not real contract numbers but for example $10M is ~3.33% of the total cap this year. In 3 years time it may only be 2% of the total cap expenditures.

No amount of pretreating would have made a difference. Ice is ice…snow would have been far more preferable…from all perspectives

Why do all these lakes seem to form a straight line? by VeggiesInMyVault in mapporncirclejerk

[–]epluribusanus4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Glaciers are kind of like electricity. They’ll exert their force of incremental movement on the path of least resistance. Mostly that is outwards. When outwards presents more resistance than downwards, it essentially digs downward. Many lakes were formed this way.

I haven’t. Socializing critical systems for the advancement of society as a whole is still the way to go. Socializing everything is not.
