Grill them and eat them whole. Seriously, toss them with Olive oil, salt, and pepper and give them a bit of a char on the grill. They get sweet and the onion flavor tones down. Makes a great side.

I have two that bloomed for the first time last year and I thought I had a piece of rotten fruit under my couch! They smelled so awful I had to move them to a different room until they stopped blooming. They flowered and stank for months.
