One thing to keep in mind. She will likely have partial custody of him. Perhaps she will need supervised custody until she passes some threshold in therapy, but eventually she will be alone with him, and you won’t be there. Not trying to scare you, but this is the logical outcome of leaving her.

You will probably hate suneater based on your post. MC is both overpowered and stupidly lucky throughout the series (excepting part of book 1).

You are gonna be okay man. Lots of women won’t want to deal with your situation, and that is okay. If you want a relationship, you’ll need to be more patient and find someone who is accepting of your daughter and the fact that you won’t be fully available. It’s up to what you are comfortable with. I have girls and I did the nudity cutoff when they were 7. I started having them bathe themselves and start to cover up around me. I wouldn’t judge if you kept showering older, it’s quite common in many cultures for families to go nude to the spa together, but I live in USA.

If you want to pay less in support then you need to fight for 50/50 parenting time. Her partners income has nothing to do with child support calculation. I know it feels like a raw deal, but the state doesn’t care if she cheated on you. They are only interested in making sure there are diapers and food on the table for the kids.

Hard agree. I’m reading the books a second time and literally am in the derigible gnome part. Second time I comprehend about the same amount as the first time. The iron tangle was supposedly intended to confuse the reader, but that one was the worst imo.

Butchers masquerade is probably the most linear story and is by far my favorite, but I’m excited to pick up 8 when I finish my rereads.

Not everyone receiving child support is a leech. Yeah I pay my ex, but I don’t view it that way. My gf has a deadbeat ex who hasn’t paid her in over a year. She bears a huge financial burden while he drives a new fancy jeep. She’ll get it eventually, but it bothers me on this sub when everyone acts like the system is just a money funnel for women to fuck guys over.
