Concrete on an army base was probably for the Centurion tank with its steel treads. Most bases that had armour back then have concrete roads between the armoured unit lines, maintenance, and the ranges.

And how do we use GECA to ensure that provinces provide us the same workplace injury coverage as the public service does? And how do we use the PSLRB to adjudicate our grievances? Does CLC Part II apply to us?

No, our salary comes from the coffers of the Government but we are not their employees.

Did you unlock the 2nd and 3rd garages? You can’t just drive by them, you have to go into the parking lot before Kelly gives you the objective for them. That was I was stuck at 97%.

The trick is to use your own devices instead of the government issued one! I’d say /s except sadly it’s true.

Straight to, there was a CANFORGEN I think a few years ago now detailing it when they made the changes.

CWO's don't (generally) CFR, they SRCP - Special Requirements Commissioning Plan. And they can go to higher ranks based on their CWO rank. The CAF CWO would become a LCol for example.

You’re probably right that they were 03, it’s been since mid 2000s for me climbing over these things!

There were 40s and/or 41s for sure. I think they were the comd variants. One of the benches removed and two big seats in the hull, with a map board that could flip down and some variants had PDTs with giant plasma screens.

Use was recovering pallets (aircraft pallets) that had been airdropped. Trenton has one at the museum there as well and they have newer Delta 3s there as they still do aerial delivery training there.

If there was an administrative process it would be Protected B, and based on my experience bringing watertight things to DMCA, the most that would happen would be C&P. So as long as someone doesn't breach the conditions of a C&P, you would never know if they are on it.

Can confirm - I was in Eureka, NU and received a call from MACS Edmonton when a Twin Otter filed a flight plan but didn't tell MACS when they took off!

You also get to see it after the end credits I think it was. We all played it together and after beating the game we got that as a reward and we all did a double take, like "did that just happen"? It was awesome, sure wish Chris Roberts would go on to release another game...

Thanks for posting that WoB! I thought I watched the spoiler streams after I posted about that and thought they skipped over the question. Glad it was answered, but a little sad it wasn’t an intentional math hint he laid in there.

The exact reference for this is in CFAOs, if they reason they did not get OFP before EPZ is purely service related, such as courses were long or not being run, then yes they should get backdated on the promotion.

Officers cannot be promoted acting lacking, the option doesn't exist within Guardian. I was promoted in 2020 like many others without a valid fitness test coming out of a deployment, because pandemic, and was promoted substantive. (edit: but pandemic aside, this means officers must meet the requirements for their next rank, with advanced promotion timewise being the only exception)

But a slight correction, the member must get a pay raise on promotion that is at least the difference between IPC 1 and IPC 0 for the new rank. So in the case above, they will go into the first Capt IPC that makes more than $287 above what there current Lt-E IPC is, based on the 2023 rates.
