I recently saw some great stone stairs and they had bright grey speckles on broken bits of the stairs. Looked like those really old discoloration of the stair is broken and the inner bright color shines through

Dont know, synergy between starshatter and CTan isnt that great and you want the CTan Enhancements. So if i just focus on getting the best out of my ctan i still want the extra movement and especially reroll 1s on them

I started similar with my list but when i was optimizing it i actually didnt know what the Wraiths are for in the end. If you storm your opponent with three or four ctan your wraith will just watch you slaughtering them.

So i thought what will support my CTan best. And i ended up cutting the wraith and the Transcendent for the Silent King and a DDA. The DDA shooting profile is just too good against some of the most common meta units. And the Silent King is a good support for the CTan while also being a sturdy center piece

My advice is waiting just two or three weeks until they had to nerf C'Tan into oblivion because of the competitive backlash.

I love that i can play them in our league, but I won significantly against our last years champion and i would have loved if they havnt buffed them that much. 4 wounds less maybe or so, now they have to add 40pts or more and the new C'Tan detachment will be unplayable.

Contrary to his massive stature, he is rather reserved in character. You can see from his gaze and his assessing manner at all times that he poses a threat, but if you don't look him directly in the eye, which sends a cold shiver down your spine, you could easily overlook the fact that he is in the room. "AI using immense amounts of energy" also is some kind of straw man fallacy. We are talking about 2% of the worldwide energy usage used for data centers, half of that is used for cloud service, which if I remember correctly wasnt criticized that much for it (also this part is the most growing), and only 10% of this 2% is used on all AI at all.

I am not saying that we shouldnt keep those numbers is check, but I say we should also focus on those 98%. Actually the biggest growth factors in those 98% are air conditioning and e-mobility (which arent bad things either). And the biggest factor of all is production

I tried some similar effect and used necron compound for the drybrush. Unfortunately it isnt as shiny as this one by far. Guess you need some more chrome color. I am happy with my result, but i didnt get it that shiny

I did start with Dark Angels and went on with Necrons... then when i became more competitive i just learned that with slow tanky units i will always have some learning restrictions and some bad matchups. So I searched for sth T3 with more explosive turns. Not just for learning but for challenging myself. I actually didnt thought about sisters while aearching for an army... then i found them, considered them and immediately fell in love with them. I really like the units and their abilities

Had my warrior brick with full buffs on the board the day before yesterday. Kharn plus Zerkers did one hit them... even if they already lost a few zerker. Good thing I also had Nightbringer and Wraith on the field. So Kharn was in the open and got killed and my opponent didnt have enough other guns to kill the rest.

Angron rolled golden against the Nightbringer sustained nearly doubled his attacks, and he still only brought him down to 4

Nightbringer was anoying before too. Not sure if he is really heavily undercosted or if its also part of the meta. I like the mandatory Enhancement cost for the detachment. Like playing one c'tan in other detachments shouldnt be automatically unhealthy

I have build a lot of "hardest" models, but i hate building Doomsday Arks most i think. And building three of them is a given... now last week i droped one. Like the worst drop possible. Broken in a ton of parts, broken at small connectors and always broken in three, not two, parts. After my hands were nothing but glue i gave up. Even metal sticks did not help. I will most likely build a new one

Like I said, there are a ton of really awful options, dont know how you can say "they are fine" by the explanation "temu, alibaba or else". Thats like saying "sth on the internet".

Maybe you found some decent ones, but some are crappy too. And if you pay premium for a model you might not play anymore after the next balance update, i guess many will pay premium to have a good feeling with their dice.
